Please refer to our previous communication with regard to client funding. We had communicated to you earlier regarding blocking of fresh orders in case of 7 day continuous debit.

As per the new circular CIR/HO/MIRSD/MIRSD2/CIR/P/2017/64 dated June 22 ,2017 on the subject and in keeping with the new regulations, the following change has been made:

With effect from 01.08.2017, the Holding value will not be considered as collaterals for adjusting the debits, in case of debit more than 7 days.

Previously, the holding value after haircut was considered against your debits. However, with the new circular coming into effect, fresh purchase orders will remain blocked until those debits are cleared by fresh pay-in. Also, you have the option to sell the existing positions but the block on purchases will remain until the settlement day or the day on which your a/c turns credit. In view of the above, we request you to plan your trading patterns and enjoy a seamless trading experience.
